Orifice

EVTech Plates are custom engineered orifice plates, featuring high performance materials for extreme resistance to erosion and corrosion.

When installed with control valves in high AP applications, EVTech Plates share the required pressure drop, provide back pressure to the valve, and minimize or eliminate noise and cavitation. EVTech Platesare also designed for standalone service. providing fixed pressure reduction and flow restriction.
There are no off-the-shelfElrfechPlates each one is specifically engineered with a customized orifice design. The orifice can be concentric, eccentric or segmented, and the size/geometry of the opening is based on process data and customer requirements.
EVTech Plates are very robust and impeccably constructed, each plate is waterjet cut and CNC machined to our engineers exact specifications.
Dozens of standard and exotic materials are available to prevent corrosion (ex: 316SS, Hastelloy, SuperDuplex, Titanium, etc… there are no limitations on materials).
If the process media contains solids [i.e. slurry), EVTech Plates are manufactured with super-hard materials for extreme abrasion resistance for the most severe services. Our 3″ to 10″ diameter orifice plates use a solid tungsten carbide disc, which is sandwiched within the plate.
EVTech Plates that are 12″ and larger have wear resistant overlays to maximize service life [ex: Stellite 6, PTA-TC , NanoSteel, etc).

Our 2-piece plate design allows end users to easily replace the tungsten carbide disc.
